How do you repair or reset Canon PIXMA MP240 printer after refilling ink cartridges? I refilled the Canon PIXMA MP240 cartridges using a refill kit. Printer won't recognize them anymore. Hours of Googling and pressing random buttons resulted in nothing useful. Any idea if it's even possible to "convince" a Canon PIXMA MP240 printer to take refilled cartridges? If so, how?

  2. Hold down the On/Off button.
  3. Reconnect thew power cable.
  4. With the power button still down, press the Stop/Reset button twice.

  7. Press the right arrow button (next to the OK button) repeatedly until Shipping Mode 3 is displayed.
  8. Press the OK button.
  9. Wait until "Without Cleaning" is displayed and then press the Stop/Reset button once.
  10. A test page should print, but if not, don't worry.
  11. Open the cover. The cartridge should position themselves at the far left-(the cartridge removal location.)
  12. Disconnect the power cable.
  13. Remove both cartridges.
  14. Close the cover.
  15. Reconnect the power cable.
  16. Press the On/Off button.
  17. Wait until a Replace Cartridges message is displayed. Now insert the cartridges.

Repair Blink HP Deskjet D2566, 2466, 3535, 3420, 3920

Repair Blink HP Deskjet
HP Deskjet 2566 printer is a printer with the price is quite cheap and reliable. However, in my opinion, the ink storage capacity is smaller than previous versions, D2466 and other. Same with other printers, HP Deskjet D2566 printer, chances are, you will find a blink or flashing LED indicator light on and the printer cannot be used. Are HP printers also need reset and how to cope with blink on HP D2566?

The printer requires a reset either manually or software. This event will often be found on the Canon and Epson. As for the printer includes the HP Deskjet D2566 Printer and HP’s other types that do not require a reset, because there is no protection against the board or this HP printer cartridges. Besides the HP D2566, but it actually applies also for the HP Deskjet 3535, 3420, 3920, 2466 which had the power light blink blinking or ink continues. And it does not mean we have to reset the HP Deskjet printer. Blink on HP D2566, 3535, 3420, 3920, 2466 This is a sign that one of the HP deskjet printer cartridge chip is damaged and must be replaced with a new cartridge.

How to overcome the blink HP Deskjet D2566, 2466, 3535, 3420, 3920:
  • Suppose that you suspect is defective color cartridge. Take the black cartridge and allow only the color cartridge installed.
           pressing the button on
  • observe the power indicator light or ink, if the HP Deskjet D2566 Printer, 3535, 3420, 3920, 2466 you still blink means the color cartridge is damaged.
  • If the power indicator light or flame full of ink, it means that your HP Deskjet printer cartridge color you are still good.
  • Take the color cartridge and reinsert the black cartridge. Means that only the black cartridge installed in the HP deskjet printer.
  • Then turn on your HP Deskjet printer.
  • Make observations on the power indicator light or ink, if the printer is HP Deskjet D2566, 3535, 3420, 3920, 2466 you still blink again means your black cartridge is damaged.
  • If the power indicator light or ink full flame, meaning a black cartridge HP DeskJet printer you are still good.
  • In conclusion,

HP Deskjet printers blink is caused by a defective cartridge is not for requesting reset. If your HP Deskjet printer cartridge is damaged, you can try cleaning the first pin in the cartridge with a pencil eraser. If it still damaged or blink, it means you already need to replace it.
